The only way you can change your work life
is to change your personal life.Joan Schramm Momentum Coaching
When you can show up fully satisfied, fulfilled and living each moment to the fullest…well, that’s when you have the truest and most meaningful impact on the people around you.
You need to understand yourself and what you value in life before you can reach a meaningful and permanent work transformation. And that personal awareness that you use as your foundation needs to be honest and real.
Here are some questions Joan Schramm asks:
What do you want MORE of in your life? (make a list)
- travel
- free time
- visits with extended family
- fun
- creativity
- time with David
- education
- opportunities to speak
- exercise
- writing
- teaching
- changing lives
What do you want LESS of in your life? (make a list)
- stress
- going to work because I have to
- headaches
- weight
What you are tolerating in your life? Think of those little things that irritate you just under the radar, because you’ve gotten used to them being there and it’s too much trouble to fix them.
- putting on some weight
- fixing my car
- lack of exercise
- behind in scrap-booking
- my book halfway done
If money wasn’t part of the equation, what would you do with your life?
- go back to school and earn a degree
- figure out my specialty/niche and create a business from it
- travel the world
