From Electronic to Paper

I may be a gadget freak, but I am a paper-lover at heart. I love my computer, my pocket pc, my mp3 player, and my ds lite. I’d be hard-pressed to give any one of them up. But my job requires me to use a FranklinCovey Planner. And I am so glad I made the switch again.
I have used the FranklinCovey system off and on for over ten years. But every once in awhile I make the switch to electronic which I love too. But for me now…it is back to paper.
What I love about paper:
- the tactile sense of writing
- being able to make quick notes
- no need to wait for it to boot up
- open the page and here I am
- writing makes it real
- the binder to keep it all in
- the pockets, nooks and crannies
- the sense of organization
- the matching tote and wallet
What I could miss about digital
- the ease of recurring appointments
- the ease of recurring birthday/anniversary dates
- beaming data
- the coolness of it all
More tomorrow on the System itself…
