What Happens on Orcas Stays on Orcas.

I had a great time on my trip to Orcas Island with my Book Club group. Here we are after our long trip up including a ferry ride:

Hurry up with the hot dogs, Pam. We are starving!

This was our view while we were eating lunch.

That night we played game after game after game. Here is Robyn playing Curses. She had to hold her nose every time she spoke, which for Robyn meant she had to hold her nose the whole game!

And she had to take a bow any time somebody clapped.

It was hard getting up the next morning but we did and here was the view that greeted us.

I wish I had a picture of the breakfast Pam and Anna cooked for us that morning. We had fried eggs, bacon, pancakes, sliced peaches and juice. It was delicious.

After breakfast we go ready and walked into town…

and headed to the Farmers Market.

And to the even smaller town of Olga to get the ice cream Pam had talked about all weekend. We didn’t get the ice cream (sorry Pam),

but we did get this nice photo of all of us.

That night we tried to watch To Kill a Mockingbird but we kept falling asleep (except for Anna who kept laughing at us).

We woke up in time for a beautiful sunset and were awake enough to play one more game.

The next morning we readied ourselves for the trip home (lots of coffee).

And here we are on the ferry heading home.
