What Are You Reading This Fall?

Helen Mildenhall of Conversation at the Edge blog asked her readers: What are you reading this fall? In reading the comments I found a couple of books I would like to a to my list.

You always know what I am reading (just look at my sidebar)! But I’d like to know what you are reading. So…

What are you reading this fall?

I’m not too sure what I am reading this fall. Why don’t you tell me what I should be reading this fall Mama Frasch?

For fiction try The Memory of Running by Ron McLarty.
For non-fiction try Why People Believe Weird Things by Michael Shermer.

    Thanks for asking!

I am reading “Possible Side Effects” by Augusten Burroughs given to me by a dear friend! :) I am also listening to (audio to go) the best American Short Stories for 2005. If you like short stories, it is wonderful! I just finished one about a man with Alzheimer’s and the lengths his family went to protect him and it makes me choke up just thinking about it. Where would I be without my books…?

Danielle thanks for the tip on the American Short Stories 2005! My dad has dementia and it is really hard to take care of him, my mom who is doing poorly and my own family and work at the same time. I need a little inspriation right about now. Thank you!!

Hi Theresa, I haven’t checked in for a while. Just started back teaching the last 2 weeks and back into the swing of things. I am ashamed to tell you I just finished Stephan King’s book “cell”. I knew I didn’t like phones for a reason :) Other than that it is textbooks that I teach and textbooks from classes I am taking.

    love
    Mary

Don’t be ashamed…we all like a trashy novel now and then :-) .

Good to see you back - I’ve missed you.
