I had to chuckle on today’s post because I remember so clearly Joni (not her real name) saying that to you! I think that you are a wonderful teacher and a very good and genuine person, and she saw that in you too immediately. We all have different interpretations of who people are and their belief systems and she felt so strongly about hers she couldn’t imagine anyone else feeling differently. I also remember the look on her face when you told her you were a non believer…..priceless!

What I would ask God:

1. Why can’t you speak to me so I understand your will for me?
2. Am I really going to hell for sex outside the covenant of marriage?
3. How can I help your children all get along?
4. Do I really have to attend church to show my love and devotion to you?
5. This isn’t a question, but thank you from every fiber of my being for giving me Winston James Munn

Thank you Theresa for not letting our difference in belief systems be a sore spot between us. You are always respectful of my opinions and I love to dialogue with you and hear your take on things. That video really made me think about WHY, and I don’t have any answers other than I feel love for the Lord but cannot explain factually why things happen the way they do. Keep up the good work because you bring up so many good points!
