I was reading some cards I wrote to myself and I came across this one which I thought was interesting in view of the book I am reading and commenting on (Goal-Free Living).
 

Your road…is your own. (April 22, 1996)

 

Your road is your own. You make your own paths in life. You choose which direction you will take at the path markers.

 

You have chosen well. You have chosen what is best and most desirable for you. You have chosen without apology and without excuse.

 

The road ahead of you is bright and scenic. It is filled with wonders and delights. There is room on that road for two of you. So take David’s hand and travel the road together, taking delight in everything you see, appreciating the wonderfulness of it all. Help each other over the rough spots, viewing all obstacles as challenges. Enjoy the challenge, enjoy the solution. Enjoy every moment you have together.

 

Live, love, and enjoy life – that’s what your map says. Choose the paths that are consistent with your life saying. Choose paths that allow you to live life to the fullest. Choose paths that allow you to love deeply. Choose paths that allow you to enjoy whatever it is you are doing.

 

Your road is your own. Go where you want to go! Get there in the way that is best for you!
