Change

At any moment our life can change. Our everyday life will be altered forever. We just don’t know when it will be. And we don’t know what it will be.
It could be a piece of bad news. You may lose your job. You may be diagnosed with a life threatening disease. You may have to move.
Isn’t it funny that when we talk about change the first things that come to mind are the "bad" things. But remember, change goes both ways.
Your life could be altered for the better in an instance:
- You might meet a new friend
- You might fall in love
- You might come up with a brilliant idea
- You might discover a new career direction
Life is mysterious and exciting. You never know what will happen. Choose to look at the brighter side of change. Look for the good changes that happen to you and celebrate them. Live life with the awareness that things are going to change. If you are expecting change you can react with an unruffled sense of acceptance.
"Change happens. Our job is to remember that it is a constant and that how we react to it often helps determine whether it is positive or negative.
Knowing that life can and does change at the drop of a hat is a powerful tool. With this knowledge, you can participate in making changes in your life rather than simply waiting for life to happen. And when life does spring surprises on you, this awareness allows you to respond to what comes at you with more flexibility and with an open heart."
