The Choice Is Yours

The most important choice we make each day is, “How will I choose to approach today?”

Will I feel sorry for myself or will I take responsibility for my own happiness? Am I going to look for what is wrong and find it? Or will I look for what is good and find that instead? Will I be judgmental or accepting? Will I be loving or self-centered? Am I going to see problems or challenges? Am I going to be a part of the problem or part of the solution?

It is all up to us. We have the choice to make our day joyful, adventurous, and exciting. Or we can demand that life be a certain way and whine and complain when it doesn’t meet our expectations.

If we don’t decide what kind of day we are going to have, who does? Either we believe we are the choice maker or we don’t. Those who don’t believe they have a choice live life as unhappy victims.

Those who consciously choose a better attitude can make their world a better place. You can choose gratitude instead of complaining. You can choose to look for the good instead of the bad.  You can choose to appreciate what you have instead of bemoaning what you don’t have.

You get to make the choice.

Have a great day…unless you have other plans.
